Let’s face it, we all choose multiplayer over singleplayer for different reasons. Some people like the interaction with players from across the world, some people like to prove they’re the best, and some people like to have a place where all their friends from school can join them. And let’s be honest – no one likes playing on an empty server. So to help bring back new players to the Fighting Saints server, we have implemented the following recruitment benefit and rewards program. There are two ways that our current players can be rewarded for helping to market the server, and all it takes is a little time.
The first and easiest method is bumping our server thread posted on the Minecraft Forums. Due to the forum’s rules, you just can’t post “bump”, or something similar. It has to be relatively on-topic – Which is pretty easy when you’re talking with your friends. Examples of allowed and on topic bumps
- Man, Bulvious has been wrecking my clan lately. Can anyone kill this guy?
- Demonstride’s base looks pretty sad compared to the 404 base. <Insert picture here>
- Anyone looking to join a clan? Etc etc.
What do you as a player earn for simply bumping our thread? Simple! For every on topic bump, a player will receive $0.10 towards a donator status of their choice. Doesn't sound like much? Just think, if you bumped the thread only one time a day for a month, it would completely cover the cost for iron donator for a month. The more often you bump, the more you earn! That’s a pretty sweet deal for those who don’t want to, or can’t fork out the cash for donator status. Please note, there is a limit of one paid bump per hour. You may bump more than once an hour, but only one bump per hour will be awarded the $0.10 payment.
So what’s the second way you can earn sweet rewards for recruiting? For every person you bring onto the server (Note, they must credit you via the MinecraftForum thread) you will earn $1 towards a donator status of your choice after the player has reached power level 100. The reason for having the power level requirement is easy – we don’t want players joining just to pad someone’s donator account and then go running off never to be seen again. We want players that stick around! Once your new recruit reaches power level 100, you will have that $1 to put towards any donator package of your choice.
Using these two different types of rewards, it becomes extremely easy for even the youngest of players to achieve the higher donator ranks. With a combination of daily posting on our Minecraft forum, along with bringing in friends and other new recruits to the server it becomes extremely easy to have your donator rank in no time!
